The people that volunteer at The Paul Center are a critical link in our chain to success when offering services to our young
people. We rely heavily on our group of volunteers and their skills to maintain and improve our services and facilities.
We have groups of employees from local corporations that donate a day of their time in the spring to help refresh the camp
before it opens for the summer. Some volunteers come and work at some or all of our fund raising events and others work
in the office to assist with our large mailings. We have many needs which lead to many opportunities to volunteer to help our
organization in some way.

On Thursday August 19, Cadence Design Systems held a reception at their
Chelmsford site to present a check for $15,000 to The Paul Center for Learning
and Recreation, Inc. Earlier in the year employees of Cadence Design Systems
held a series of fundraisers and raised over $9,000. Cadence Design Systems’
s corporate headquarters then provided a donation to round the figure out to
$15,000. Jack Hoell, Executive Director, thanked the employees for their efforts.
Hoell said, “It is so gratifying and humbling to know that this company and its
employees care so much that they will make this kind of effort and that we were
the beneficiaries of it”. Members of the Cadence Team, pictured from left to right:
